Silvie's Three!

It's Sylvie's birthday today.
Sylvie, pictured here, next to her "Speeder" {her new set of wheels that all the Lampe boys learned to ride on}.   You can hardly see her face with her long bangs.  We're trying to grow them out, but she won't keep a hair tie in!!  She's a fun little thing.  Loves pink, but is tougher than a box a rocks with her determination.  Just last night, Sylvie rode her bike all by herself for a good thirty feet and laughed the whole time she was doing it.

I ordered Syl some little Salt Water sandals and am hoping these little "sylvie-colored" ones arrive before Easter.  Loved these dresses that I found on a blog fave of my sisters, bliss. They look like really good twirlers, don't you think?  They are from kicokids.

We were going to have a little bash for Sylvie this weekend, but as always, it rains on her party day.  So, we're waiting for sunshine.   Hope we can all find some soon!

Happy Day to you all!

Snowed In!

It's single digits here. Plus snow!! These two things = a lotta clothing flyin on and off {soggy socks, mittens and other woolens}, which is in turn making the laundry piles grow {needlessly faster}... I'm wishing those piles would fall back into the single digits soon and very soon!!

Took Syl-Syl out in her new sled last weekend. She loves it. I scoped a few table scape photo-shoot spots while out too. I've got some icy inspirationals...just need a full-blast heater to help me w/the set-up. Any body got some hot air and time to blow on me? I'd truly love some willing hands {clad in wool}. I have special hot chocolate. Now, mind you...this is Not cocoa! It is Hot CHOCOLAT {real dark chocolate shavings simmered in hot creme + a dolling up of real whipping creme}! Ring me if you're in on it!

Jack London says, "You can't wait for inspiration...you have to go after it with a club." I think instead of a club, a shovel might work best for now. I do love his fierceness... It gets me fired up and ready to go strong everyday!

Don't forget to check back in...I will be guesting on a special decor blog comin up! We have several new interior projects going on around here in the New Year at Sharon Taylor Designs. Plus I'll be sharing some more sneak peaks of friend's and fam's stylish homes in the hood.

Hope you have a fan-icycle {fantastical} day!

Black Forest Sundae Kitchen by Sharon Taylor Designs

Here's a little Black Forest Sundae edition of a kitchen {same client}. I just this week topped the dark chocolate floors off with the whipped creme and red cherries...{Oh, how I love a good pun!} I really need help...Am I strange to want to name these rooms after food? What does this mean? I'm sure it means I have an eating disorder of some sort, among many other things...

O., but this room is just
VERY, don't you think?

Lately, I can't get over watching my little Sylvie slide around in her swirly bottom black tights and new {large} red coat. Never do I have any luck getting a smile out of her for the snap.

Currently obsessed w/Miles Redd eclecticism.

I've been so busy decorating everywhere else but my own home. How are all your homes coming along? I'm seeing some fantastic Holiday cheer in the neighborhood! I mean, more greens than ever are going up around here. Very heart warming. Cheerful big wreaths, pony tails {that's what my sister Rosie calls her door swag}, and lights that really say "Glad Tidings".

I say big "Bravo!" for Happy Holidaying!
