As you know, my sister, Julie Blackmon, has been doing some pretty amazing things. This latest one, has to be one of the biggest highlights of her career to date. She was asked to shoot the cover for Time Magazine! My niece, Mabel, who's a natural, is the sweet little model. It should hit news stands today. The article, {which I have not read yet}, is about a study that reveals some pretty controversial findings regarding bribing kids for good grades. I can't wait to get my copy, read it, and frame it!
I also can't help but think what dad would be doing today, if he were alive. He'd be at National Art Shop having fifty copies enlarged, framed in gold, and placed in a glass showcase in our living room.
